Millie's brief description from Dr. Chiang

Patient: Millie
Species: FE
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: F
Color: Blk & Grey
Weight: 1.1kg

"On presentation, Millie was alert and responsive. She was pale and had a gallop rhythm when we ausculted her heart. She also had a firm mass on her left jaw that you had also noticed in the last few days. A blood analysis showed a decrease in all the cell lines (red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets). We discussed possible causes including diseases such as FeLV and FIV, neoplasia, or toxins affecting the bone marrow. The next diagnosis step would be to sample her bone marrow and look for potential causes. Based on our discussion you have elected to take Millie home. You have declined medications (prednisone, doxycycline) at this point.

If Millie develops difficulty breathing, becomes excessively lethargic, or begins to bleed excessively, please bring her to see a veterinarian as soon as possible.

Thank you for bringing Millie in to see us. She is a sweetheart!

Dr. Chiang"
